Flexibility with control plane and data plane hosting
Tessell allows you to manage the databases seamlessly by bifurcating the management layer (control plane ) and storage/data layer (data plane). Chose from a shared or a dedicated option for the control plane.
Least privilege access
Secure communication between the control plane and the data plane by employing IAM roles with least privilege for secure and temporary access, utilizing resource tagging for fine-grained access control, and limiting microservice interactions to minimize attack surfaces.
Minimize vulnerability with secure network communication
Inbound connections to the data plane are strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved, and outbound connections are protected with SSL encryption. The architecture follows a pull-based data retrieval approach, ensuring the control plane remains passive until needed.
